Aus aktuellem Anlass / Due to recent events
Mit dem Verlauf des Krieges im Nahen Osten verhärten sich die Fronten insbesondere in
der linken Szene. Kulturschaffende und Kulturräume werden gelabelt, Freund*innenkreise
zerfallen, Menschen reproduzieren Feindbilder statt in Dialoge zu treten.
Diese Entwicklung ist besorgniserregend.
Im September 2024 äußerten wir uns öffentlich antisemitismuskritisch. Da wir die Ereignisse
in deren Komplexität wahrnehmen, haben wir mit der Frage „Wofür stehen wir?“ ein umfangreicheres Statement verfasst.

As the war in the Middle East continues, the fronts are becoming more divided, particularly on the left. Those working in the cultural sector and cultural spaces are being labeled, circles of friends are falling apart, people are reproducing enemy images instead of engaging in dialogue.
This development is worrying.
In September 2024 we made a public comment critical of anti-Semitism. Since we are aware of the events in their complexity, we have written a more comprehensive statement with the question “What do we stand for?”
